In good weather, you can enjoy your meal in the attractive beer garden. The Shoe Inn is a free house and has a good selection of draught beers and lagers. At any time, you ‘ll find up to 3 real ales on tap and an extensive choice of wines, spirits and all the usual popular beverages.
Entertainment includes pool, dominoes and varied music on Friday evenings.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar.
Set in a beautiful 600 year old house, on the edge of the New Forest National Park, Cross Oaks Farmhouse has bedrooms with en suite facilities and free Wi-Fi.

There is coarse fishing in two of the farms'' lovely lakes. Guests can also stroll along the stream to the church where Florence Nightingale is layed to rest.
